The communities in Grendon Underwood, Edgcott and Kingswood are planning to hold a party to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, to be held in Grendon Underwood on 4 June 2012.
We are planning a family fun day for all ages, with:
- a tea party in
- 1950s themed games
- children’s entertainment, and music
followed by an adults only party in the evening.
We want the event to be accessible to everyone in our communities. We also hope that if we can fundraise some money or get some support, the events will be free.
Lots of local groups are keen to support it, but we need more help and volunteers to make it happen.
How you can help
We need more VOLUNTEERS to design the event and get our plans underway. We also need individuals and businesses to pledge support, whether money or donations of goods or services.
